This data exchange is being developed as part of a pilot project among the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. EPA, and environmental agencies from the states of Nebraska, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington. The pilot project will attempt to demonstrate the feasibility of using Exchange Network technology to streamline the submission of air emissions data from facilities to state and local agencies using the Consolidated Emission Reporting Schema (CERS).
