U.S. EPA's Substance Registry System Slated for Upgrade

Beginning in July, there will be a gap in the availability of the Substance Registry System (SRS) web services. EPA's Office of Environmental Information (OEI) has redesigned the SRS and plans to make the new version available on July 11, 2008. EPA will be building updated web services that are compliant with this new version of SRS as well as Node 2.0. The new SRS web services are scheduled for production release in September 2008.

If you would like to learn more about the new functionalities available in the redesigned SRS or learn more about the SRS web services, please contact John Harman at 202-566-0748 or visit http://www.epa.gov/srs
