Over the weekend of July 23rd, the U.S. EPA’s Central Data Exchange (CDX) core services migrated to a new database platform. Beginning the morning of July 26th, performance issues began manifesting for some users when interacting with the CDX Next Generation Node (NGN), Exchange Network Services Center (ENSC), and Exchange Network Discovery Service (ENDS). Initial tuning attempts provided limited relief. On the evening of Wednesday, July 28th configuration changes were made to alleviate the widespread performance issues.
As of the evening of August 2nd, there are no known widespread performance issues impacting Exchange Network services, and the situation continues to be actively monitored.
