Data Exchange Description

The Homeland Security Data Exchange allows States to make their environmental, health, and safety information available to national security, law enforcement, and intelligence communities as well as the general public.

Status: Supported

The XML Schemas support the following data flows:  Environmental Incidents Data, Storage Tanks Data, and Tier II Facility Data. The schemas were designed with the intention of leveraging existing Exchange Network Schema Components and resources wherever possible. Learn about the Homeland Security schemas’ reused components.
