Data Exchange Description
The ICIS Data Access data exchange (ICISDA) allows Partners to request and receive ICIS data in XML format. The Integrated Compliance Information System (ICIS) currently holds National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Federal Enforcement and Compliance (FE&C), and Air compliance data. Partners can now request NPDES data such as permit, Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR), inspection, enforcement, violations, parameter limits, limit sets, permitted features, and program report data that conform with the ICIS Electronic Data Transfer (EDT) XML Schema. In addition, Partners can retrieve reference codes for ICIS parameters, pollutants, units, and affiliation types that conform to its own ICISDA XML Schema. Future versions of the Data Exchange (sometimes referred to as “ICIS Data Publishing”) will allow Partners to request additional data families depending on the demand, such as ICIS-Air data from the modernized Air Facility System.
