Data Exchange Description
Partners can use the Exchange Network to submit data to or extract data from EPA’s RCRAInfo system, the national program management and inventory system for hazardous waste handlers. The EPA CDX test and production endpoints for RCRAInfo are available here.
EPA has established a national system for tracking hazardous waste shipments electronically. This system, known as “e-Manifest,” will modernize the nation’s cradle-to-grave hazardous waste tracking process while saving valuable time, resources, and dollars for industry and states. e-Manifest data is stored in the RCRAInfo system. The current version of the RCRAInfo data flow allows partners to access manifest data for their state.
**Important Note** Schema and other resources for the forthcoming version of the RCRAInfo data exchange (v5.11) are now available on this page for reference by partner agencies. U.S. EPA plans to implement this new version on the following schedule:
- Pre-Production – v5.11 is now available for testing in the RCRAInfo pre-production environment.
- Production – v5.11 will be available in the production environment in January 2022. Please do not attempt to submit or solicit data in the RCRAInfo production environment until this time. Until then, please continue using v5.10 or another supported version. This page will be updated when v5.11 is fully supported at EPA and ready for use.
